Heather is a Lafayette native who attended Lafayette Elementary, Stanley, and Acalanes. She has experience working as a high school math teacher for a number of years in both Washington State and Ohio. She also holds her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from The Ohio State University where she led research in curriculum design, working with numerous K12 teachers and principals. Much of this work was done both through OSU as well as the PAST Foundation, an educational nonprofit. Heather is very excited to be working with a nonprofit back in her home community! She has two children who attend, and will attend LES.
