The Stroke of Luck exhibit features works of LPIE Art made by students of every elementary grade level (TK-5th) from our four elementary schools whose names are randomly selected after the LPIE Art Fairs take place at each school in the spring.
Starting December 14, 2019, visitors to Lafayette’s Town Hall Theater will be treated to a colorful display of artwork where families will gather for the reception from 5-7pm. Over the next few weeks, LPIE’s Stroke of Luck exhibit of student art will hang in the theater’s lobby until January 9th.
Lafayette’s local shop P&L Framing generously frames each piece for the exhibit, which will travel to and be displayed at different businesses in Lafayette and at each school’s Art Fair. The students will be presented with their framed work at the end of the year.
Lafayette Elementary 4th grader Anais Crochet proudly posed next to her painting of a mountain at JPG@TheBank during the Art & Wine Festival in September. “LPIE Art is really fun because we do cool projects!” says Anais.
The next stop for LPIE’s The Stroke of Luck exhibition will be at The Art Room in Spring of 2020.
