For over four decades, Lafayette Partners In Education (formally Lafayette Arts and Science Foundation) has provided essential funding for Lafayette public schools, directing over $50M since 1980 towards exceptional educational opportunities. AWARD-WINNING ORCHESTRA, CHORUS, BAND + JAZZ BAND taught by credentialed music teachers and professional music mentors at Stanley Middle School.
17 ACALANES HIGH SCHOOL ELECTIVES including journalism, digital design, video production, drama, stagecraft, Blueprint, and leadership.
5 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CREDENTIALED SCIENCE TEACHERS delivering innovative lessons.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GARDENS where students are planting, digging, raking, observing, exploring, and learning about the world.

ANNUAL PROJECT LPIE COMPETITION that allows Acalanes High School and Stanley Middle School students to showcase their skills.

ANNUAL LPIE SCIENCE FAIR to celebrate science at each of the 4 elementary campuses.

How it works
Parents, community members, and businesses donate to LPIE.
LPIE directs the money to the Lafayette School District and Acalanes High School. In 2024-2025, LPIE has guaranteed $4.6M.
The districts distribute the money to pay for salaries, programs, and supplies at our schools.
$469,051 have been raised for the 2024-2025 school year.
